The Nickel-a-Drink Research Foundation is dedicated to:

* supporting research initiatives to discover the causes of addictive behaviours and mental illnesses and develop better treatments to enhance the quality of life for thousands of Canadians and their families;

*supporting educational programs for children and youth; and

* increasing awareness of addictions and mental health issues.

Nickel-a-Drink for Addictions and Mental Health Research Foundation is a fantastic idea. Every Canadian can be part of raising the funds necessary for the much-needed research to unlock the mysteries of mental health and addictions.
